Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My husband and I are seperating again for the 3rd time. We live in VA, and have already filed a settlement agreement and a petition for divorce. Since we have to wait one year living apart until we can file for the actual divorce, do we need to do anything now that we are seperating and beginning the year over again? I have spent thousands on attorneys and would like to just finish this without incurring any more legal fees. Is that possible?

Better schedule a consultation(at the end of the waiting period) with an attorney to review the paperwork(property settlement agreement, complaint for divorce, and the relevant factual considerations) to determine what changes/updates may be needed to ensure that matters go smoothly in prosecuting the matter through the circuit court. (And, no, I'm not suggesting that you spend thousands but no more than the cost of an hour or so for this attorney's time.)
