Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

idiot friend

I have a friend who iis still married but split up. When they seperated she had a contract drafted. The contract stated that he had to pay all her bills, rent, etc. He has to do this until she remarries and she hasn't worked in six months. Is this legally binding even though he signed it?

Sure, it could be, but it sounds as though the husband probably hasn't been paying a penny on it since it was signed and until determined efforts are made to enforce this contract through appropriate court action, that will likely continue to be the case.
