Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

information regarding nanny

I ask this question for my wife. Her ex-husband is the custodial parent of their 2 boys. He has recently hired a live-in caregiver (nanny). My wife requested information regarding this person including her experience/references, the results of personal/criminal background checks, details of the hiring process including qualifications of other candidates etc. He's refusing to provide this information, and my wife wonders if she has the right to demand it.

Re: information regarding nanny

Probably not, unless there is some credible reason to believe that this particular nanny poses some threat to these children or that in the past such nannies have been hired by the former spouse who in fact proved to be harmful to the care and well being of the children.
