Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Insurance on Children

My husband is required to carry health ins. oh his two kids from his first marriage. He has switched jobs and will not be able to obtain health ins for a few months. I put them on my ins. Is this an issue? The ex is now saying that they do not have ins. My husband is scared will be compensated for any fees she has occured. Even though they are covered medically on my insurance plan. Should he participate with Cobra or is it fine that they are covered on my policy?

Re: Insurance on Children

Why is the ex now claiming that her children do not have health insurance? If in fact they do have such insurance whether in fact it is being directly provided by your husband or indirectly by him through you as his wife, it should make no difference in terms of his compliance with the order. And, therefore, I see no reason as to why he should have to take out an expensive COBRA isnurance policy.
