my ex and i have joint custody of our son and on the visitation weekends with his father he has witnessed domestic violence. what are the chances i can get it stipulated in our court order for there to be no domestic violence in front of our child or his visitation will be dropped to supervised?

There should be no "domestic violence" in any case (whether in front of

your child or not)---if that in fact is what actually occurred.

And the court would very likely require a full evidentiary hearing on the matter before giving serious consideration to any action to strip the father of his current custody rights and substitute mere supervised visitation in their place.
