I am assuming VA is an abbreviation for Virginia, USA? If you are an australian citizen, or if you have habitually resided in australia for the last 12 months, you can apply for a divorce here. Go the the family court website www.familycourt.gov.au and download the kit. I am sure that it is probably just as easy to apply for a divorce in Virginia but I am not familiar with their processes.

Your wife could file the necessary papers for no fault divorce in the appropriate Virginia circuit court. There is a packet of forms with instructions available from the clerk's office of some circuit courts which explains how to do this. (If for some reason she cannot do it on her own, she can probably find an attorney to handle it for around $1000.)
You would need to agree to accept and
sign all required papers which would be forwarded to you in which you would acknowledge acceptance of the service of notice of the suit and your agreement to various waivers and, basically, not to contest the matter.
