Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Why can a judge take over 3 1/2 months to sign a order so I can appeal

July 20,2007 a juvenile judge acussed me of parental alienation and gave the children to the father who molested them. I had protected them as much as social services and over 20 professional told me to. Now he won't sign the order so I can appeal, and my children want out they are scared to death of him. They are 11 and 14 I don't see why the judge won't listen to them and what they want at that age, not to mention the abuse that he is aware of as well as sheriff's dept social services. I don't know where to get help, I am desperate to save my kids.

Parental alienation? I am not aware that this is a basis for a court to make an award of custody to the other parent based upon what is in the proverbial best interests of the subject children. There must be other relevant facts/factors involved which the court considered in rendering its custody decision against you and in favor of the children's father.
