Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Judges don't listen to those with out a lawyer

I went to court for child support, that was find. But the judge told me that I would have to pay for some of my husbands lawyer fees, because I gave her the run around. The reason that I did not give the lawyer all the info was because she kept harrasing me for it. I tried to explain my situation to the judge but with out a lawyer judges do not listen to you. My question is should I fight the judges decision? If I didnt have money to pay for my own lawyer then why would I have the money to pay 4,700 for his lawyers fees.

If this was a Juvenile & Domestic Relations District Court judge which made this award of attorney fees, you should have 10 days to appeal the decision to the circuit court.
