Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia
Judges Ruling
When a judge makes a ruling in a civil case (in my case, child custody) with stipulations of who can be around the children, when does the ruling go into affect? Is it effective immediately when the judge states his/her instructions? or does it have to actually be filed with the court?
