Is leaving 8yr old with a 17yr old home alone for 3 days in va illegal?

Depending upon the maturity of the 17 year old as well as the physical/mental

condition of the eight year old, as well as other factors, it might be---or not---

and there is no so-called Black Letter Law that you could look to in order to get

a straight forward/definitive answer based upon the very limited
