Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

How would I get legal documents from a county in Virginia, to see if a child was adopted or not? Aprox 15 years ago. Do juvenile courts expung such information after 10 years? Note this child is now 23 years old.

Unless you are the adoptee (23 year old), you will have some difficulty getting these documents, but you might check with the Circuit Court or the attorney that did the adoption. Good luck.
