legal malpractice in virginia: statue of limitations
Hi,
What is the time limit for filing a malpractice lawsuit for negligence and misrepresentation against an attorney practicing in Virginia? Also, is the time limit affected if another attorney in the same law firm takes the case? Thank you.

Most likely two years from the date of the incident(s) giving rise to the claim or from the date when such could've been discovered by the plaintiff exercising reasonable diligence.
Another attorney connected with the same firm as the accused should not be taking the case---in any way, shape or form.
