i recently access my wife email account and found she has been cheating on me, do i have the right to read her email

Do you have a "right", you ask, such as enshrined and guaranteed in the the U.S. and

Virginia Constitutions, to read your wife's email, or even under the various layers of privacy law and regulation smattered through the bodies of various state and federal law, I'd say no, you likely have no such right.

However, as a practical matter, particularly, if

you and your wife are sharing a computer, I'd say

that if you happened inadvertently to pull up and then read her email log, no privacy rights of hers were likely violated.
