Legal Separation

When you are legally separated are you then free to go and go as you please. Can a person date?

No. I would hold off on dating until you have your spouse sign a property settlement agreement that not only settles all property and support issues, but also contains a clause stating that the other party agrees to file for a no-fault divorce and that upon execution of the agreement each party is permitted to act as if unmarried.
