a legal seperation

in the event the that i file for a legal seperation from my wife in the state of virgina . We have a house, and she is not working and we have two kids. What happens when i leave the house. does she receive any income from me,and also am i still responsible for paying the mortgage as well as the utilities, gas, and water bills.

Yes, you wife could sue you for child and spousal support, and you would likely continue to have responsibility for paying the other bills mentioned

as well.
