Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia
Legal Sepration
How binding is a legal sepration if only one person signs it? What are my legal right as having joint custody of our kids as far as when they get sick or when they miss school?

There is no such thing as a one sided agreement. It takes two signatures to make it binding. Until a Court divests you of some part of your custody, you and the children's mother share total complete custody of your children. You have the same rights as the other parent until some court takes it away.
Good luck.
