Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I am the legal sole custodial parent and was wondering if I can somehow get a change of jurisdiction from virginia juvenile and domestic court to florida for a child support case. I filed a motion to show cause and received judgment, but they didn't impose any penalties (jail). The non-custodial parent filed a motion to amend child support order (lower it). It has been over 2 years and they keep continuing it trying to wear me out. He is represented by an attorney. I have moved with my son over six months now, and don't want to keep coming back to virginia to court. I want to change jurisdiction for all judments and open cases including custody, child support, motions to amend. I am acting pro se. Thanks for your assistance.

If you keep representing yourself pro se, you'll most

likely keep repeating the results you've experienced thus far with this matter.

Better break out some bucks to hire an attorney experienced in Virginia

family law matters who may be able to get this case moved to

the sunshine state and where you can exert more control of it

without having to keep traveling back to Virginia for court hearings.
