Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

life time rights

iam suppoes to have my life time rights on the home place and all iam to pay is the taxes and pay off the house.but my mother died 1/13/07 and ther is a furnal expence to pay.the deed is in my brothers name. and mine is not and he wants to sell is there any thing i can do to stay here?

If you received a life estate in your mother's will, the house cannot be sold without your approval.
