Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I live in Texas. I am moving to Virginia and getting married. I want to have my divorce papers moved to Virginia. How long does it take to establish residency so that I can do that?

If you mean in order to file for divorce in the Commonwealth, it

requires at least six months of residence preceding the filing of the papers.
