Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia
I live in VA and I married a woman from RI. She has 2 children from different fathers. I just went through 1 year and over 10 thousand dollars in legal and Guardian at litem fees fighting the youngest childs father to gain relocation rights so they could move to VA. the parents share custody and the mother has full possession while the father has visitation rights. My question today is, since we have won the right to relocate, the father keeps bringing unfounded motions to the courts causing additional legal fees as well as transportation fees since the cases are all in RI. Do I have any recourse in fighting for reimbursement of legal fees and.or travel expenses?

Ask the RI attorney who presumably is representing you and the mother in the courts of Rhode Island.
