Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I live in Virginia and my wife just asked for a divirce last night I need to know how the property laws r in this state , she owned her house when e met and got married. I came into this with very little property car close electronics. We have been looking for some investment property and got a offer acepted and she signed a contract and I am not on it but she wants me to do the work on it fixing it up getting a lease and checking people out once we close and r ready to lease .Where do I stand on claims to the property in this when it comes to splitting it up
