Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Hi I live in virginia.I was awarded spousal support in Prince William County Va through the juvinile and domestic court judge. Not through our divorce. The divorce judge told my ex husband to pay untill it went up before the juvinile domestic court judge..My ex husband has moved out of state with our children. We have joint custody. They are 16,15.and 14.I am please asking if I can move to the State of Florida would he still have to pay my spousal support since I would live in a different state? We were married 24 years and had 7 children.

Yes, you should be able to register your Virginia spousal support order in the appropriate court

in Florida whereafter it becomes like one of the Florida court's own orders for spousal support.
