Living arrangements for child custody

In Virginia are there any restriction on living with a boyfriend or girlfriend if you have custody of a child from a previous marriage?

The anser to your question seems to change from day to day and from court to court. I am aware that there are at least some judges in Fairfax County who tolerate it. And, there may be some who do not! I would first obtain the "informed"

consent from the non-custodial parent and make sure they have all relevant facts!

The Virginia sodomy statute, apparently, is still

on the books and prohibits the kind of living arrangement which you describe irrespective of whether or not children are involved.
