living together seperations
Seperating from fiancee of 4 years. Three years I was the only one working. I signed over my check to him for4 years. Now he ha a good job and wants me out. I also cared for his 10 year old as a mother. I want money to move and set up new life. When I moved in I gave up an excellent residence is safe neighborhood, and expect the same in my move. I also paid 2500 for childern's dental with proof. Inherited money and put it into residence. Where do I stand in getting all or some of this money back?

Re: living together seperations
"Where do I stand on getting all or some of this money back?", you ask.
Unfortunately, the answer would appear to be on "pretty shaky ground".
Virginia has no so-called "palimony"
laws (Lee Marvin v. Michelle ? case in California some years back)that would allow mere fiances to recover damages from their paramours under the circumstances which you've described.
However, you might want to arrange a consultation with an attorney to determine whether there might be some other basis (recognized under the laws of the Commonwealth) for you to recover at least some of what you have invested in this relationship, possibly under a breach of contract theory or, perhaps, some other legal posit(unjust enrichment?) that might possibly be applicable to your situation.
