Can locks on home be changed?

Husband been having affair for past 4 years. Wife and child have been trying to keep family together. Husband took a job in another State and moved there. Wife and child were to follow after school year. Husband told wife he does not want them to move because he doesn't think he can be a good husband anymore. Can wife change the locks on doors of house that she and child are still living in? House is in both husband and wife's name.

Re: Can locks on home be changed?

Until a court of proper jurisdiction awards the wife the right of sole possession of the marital home, the husband as co-owner of the property has every much right to occupy it as she does.
