How long do child support payments continue? I don't see on the court papers where that is listed.

In 1996, the Virginia child support laws were amended to make the obligor(payor) responsible for paying the support until the subject child graduates from high school or turns age 19, whichever occurs first unless the parents have opted for a divorce settlement agreement that the support should continue through approximately four years of college.
