how long does signed seperation agreement papers stand valid without being filed?

No particular time frame or limit involved with regard to the filing of such

a document with the circuit court (as far as I am aware).

The signed agreement is a contract that is valid for as long as its terms say it's valid. For example, until modified in writing by the parties.
