Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I was married and divorced my ex in Arizona. Both parties were ordered to pay their portion of their student loan which were consolidated. My portion was only $2400 which has since been garnished from my income tax return . I am on disability and now the government. is garnishing those funds .. Also the IRS has garnished my income tax returns. I have tried repeatedly tried to resolve this issue with him, and he refuses to pay. Now with all the interest added over the years the amount owed is over $23,000. He now lives in New Mexico and I live in Virginia. this How can I get the order domesticated in the state of New Mexico. So it can be in forced?

Very likely, you will need to obtain a New Mexico lawyer to not only "domesticate" the order in the appropriate court of that state, but also to assist with its enforcement.
