Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I married an Indonesian woman in Jakarta NOV 17, 2007. She arrived in the US on a K1 Visa NOV 22, 2008. She left me on AUG 2, 2010. I received an email that she wants a divorce. Where do I apply for the divorce, in Indonesia or the US? I am concerned that if I apply for the divorce here in Virginia that It will not be valid since I was married in indonesia.
