If you were married to someone and signed for a divorce but the divorce did not go through and no paper work was given for proof of divorce, does that mean you are legally divorced from that person?
The divorced happened in Mississippi.

If' "the divorce did not go through", i.e., finalized by a court of proper jurisdiction, you would not be legally divorced in Mississippi nor any place else.
