i got married in Washington dc same sex marriage and wanting to get a divorce, what do i need to do and I live in Va

Go see a lawyer in DC who handles domestic relations matters

in that jurisdiction as your marriage would not be recognized in the

law of the Commonwealth and hence no divorce would be possible.
