Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

We have been married for 22 years. My husband left on 7/15 amd moved into a friends house is this desertion? If so if he returns to house to live here until I sell house what then? How much child and spouse support can I expect? he is offereing me an amount of money but I want to make sure It is enough. Also he was in the military and receives veterans money do I get some of that too? What about the retirement? please help I plan on eventually getting a lawyer I just dont have any money and owe alot on my house.

Not likely. Simple moving does not constitute desertion. There is no way to tell how much support you might get as you have not given us enough facts to answer those questions. You may be able to receive some of the retirement or other assets. You need to consult and/or hire an attorney as soon as possible.
