Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

I have been married for 17 years. I have been out of work the last 3 years, and been fully supported by my husband. Due to our marital problems, my husband and I are no longer sleeping in the same room, I moved out because of his behavior. Because I moved out of the room he is refusing to take care of me. He stopped paying everything, the mortgage, the utility bills, car note, credit cards etc. Everything is two months or more behind. I think he's doing it to force me out, but I can't leave because i have no job. There isn't even any food in the house because he refuses to buy groceries. Can he legally just stop taking care of me and leave me with nothing, while we're living in the same house? What can I do?

You are entitled to remain in the marital home until a court

orders you to leave(or you agree to such departure in a Property Settlement Agreement. In the meantime you could file in your local

circuit court for temporary support and maintenance from your husband, pending a divorce.
