Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My mom has invited me, my sister, my daughter, and my girlfriend of two years to her home for thanksgiving. My ex, who I have been separated from for over 3, is refusing to let me go if my girlfriend comes. We have a temporary agreement in place for visitation and support, but there is nothing in the agreement about significant others. There is nothing in the agreement stating that they aren't allowed on trips/vacations or for overnight stays. My girlfriend doesnt stay over night when I have my daughter but my daughter and her are very close and I dont see the harm in her coming on a family trip. Does my ex have any legal ground to stand?
