Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

if the mother of my 3 children were convicted of welfare fraud,can the state come after me for any tanif payments she received prior too her conviction?also, if she received tanif while my children and herself resided w/me,is that fraud?

If this mother received TANEF payments fraudulently, particularly while she

and your children were residing with you, it's unlikely that you would

be considered responsible for reimbursing the Commonwealth for those

particular payments.

However, since I am not an expert on TANEF eligibility criteria, I cannot

answer your last question.
