Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia
the mother never visits kids
ok,my boyfriend has had custodial joint custody of his 3 kids for over a year now.The kids are ages 3,6 girls and a 5 yr old boy.the mother is supposed to get them every other week friday to sunday and every monday and wednesday overnite. She only get them on the average 1 day a month,(she lives 5 minutes away)She pays no support and never calls to even talk to the kids.I write down everything in a notebook about when she see's them and don't.She is now telling the kids when she gets a house of her own(she lives with mommy) she is taking there dad to court to get custody? Will she get it? should my boyfriend take her to court and change the visitation? She also bathes all 3 kids together in the bath..should i call social services on her?

Re: the mother never visits kids
Before you (or he) go blowing the whistle on her, better clean up your own act. If you're living together while he has joint custody of the kids, you're jeapordizing his custody rights, giving her a meaningful leg to stand on. Otherwise, her lack of attention to the kids, not even exercising the visitation rights she has, will go against her.
