moving in the same state affects divorce?

I moved from Arlington county to Fairfax county. I was planning to file a divorce. How long do I have to wait to meet the residency requirement in Fairfax county?

You don't have to wait at all. As long as you've lived in Virginia for at least 6 months you can file in any county.
