Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

newly separated due to husband committing adultry again. i files for spousal support(not gone to court) i need to get his pay records suponea how can i do that without a lawyer.have no income and husband isn't paying me anything. haven't worked in over a year and still can't find a job. thanks ann

Subpoena should work, but best to have a lawyer.

If you've filed for spousal support in the J&DR;Court, you can ask the clerk

to issue what's called a Subpoena Duces Tecum in your behalf for the pay records of your husband (assuming that you have all the information required for the issuance of this subpoena).
