Does on-line chat of a sexual nature that results in self gratification constitute adultry in the state of Virginia? How does state law view ''virtual'' affairs?

"Virtual affairs" to use your term, although they may be highly titillating, as you've obviously found, do not constitute legal grounds for adultery in the Commonwealth.
