Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

My order says my wife has custody in Richmond Va. I live in Lebanon Va 6 hrs away. My son has lived with me for 8 months....does my county have jurisdiction over the original order?

No, since your wife still lives in Richmond, that's where you'll have to go to change the custody order.
