if i was ordered to pay child support and i had to stop working and file for disability and have not been able to work to pay it, what are the reprocussions that i will have to deal with ?

You will be required to continue the child support at the present level until you petition the court for a modification based on a material change in circumstances. The court has the power to make the change retroactive to the date of filing, but not earlier.
