Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Ore Tenus Hearing & Final Decree

I have a complaint, MSA, and waiver of notice. I turned those papers in but when I turned in a paper for a request for an Ore Tenus Hearing I was told that I had to make a phone appointment. After doing that I was told I needed all the necessary paperwork but no one will tell me what that includes. Also, when should I turn in the final decree for divorce paper?

Re: Ore Tenus Hearing & Final Decree

If you've filed an appropriate Complaint(for divorce) the PSA(Property Settlement Agreement, and service of process/waiver notices, then the only remaining document which the court should need to schedule the Ore Tenus hearing, should be the Final Decree itself.

You also need the VS 4 statistical form completed which you can obtain from the Clerk's office.
