Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Papers were filed with court and both parties signed and were signed by a judge in a divorce case. boths partys took certain debts after paying for one year one party would no longer pay a debt agreed to. what is recourse to the offended party or are they now have to assume this debt. tgank you

Assuming that these debts were agreed to and settled by the parties in

a property settlement agreement which was incorporated into their final

decree of divorce, the aggrieved party must pay to reopen the divorce case

and then file what's called a Rule to Show Cause against the defaulting one

(as to why s/he should not be found in contempt and appropriately sanctioned).
