Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

What can I do as a parent, when our guardian will not investigate abuse on my child. They clearly sided right away with the other parent. Our child is in therapy and many doctors and the GAL hasn't talked with one of them; not even for court. Our child was psyically hurt while on a visitation and it took her 59 days "to look into it" this was 4 days before our custody hearing date. I believe she only asked 1 question to the child (according to the child) and she only did this when she realized I really had a lawyer now to help me, thanks to my other childs doctor stepping in. This started 7 months ago with a domestic assualt our child was witness too.I took the kids and never looked back. (except for the courts)

Well, it would seem reasonable (now that you have an attorney) to take this issue up with him or her and to determine whether it might be advisable to request at the next scheduled hearing that a new G.A.L. be appointed to

represent what are suppose to be your child's best interests in this case.
