Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia
parental responsibility
I will be turning 18 in a couple of months and have an older boyfriend. I live in virginia(newport news). I plan to move out and live with him when i am 18, but i will still be in high school. Are my parents still legally responsible for me if i do not attend school, get bad grades, or not graduate?, Also can he be penalized if i do not go to school?

Re: parental responsibility
These are very bad plans on your part, and if you're foolish encough to follow through with them,
only you will be responsible (and have yourself to blame)and not your parents for the many unfortunate things which are likely to happen to you as a result of these decisions which you foolishly made.
