Parental rights
My daughter and my granddaughter's father have joint legal custody of my granddaughter,but my daughter has physical custody. The father has suggested that he would give up his parental rights so he wouldn't have to pay child support.If my daughter does get full custody will he still have to pay child support? Also could he still get visatation?

It is not that easy to "give up" your parental rights. In any case involving termination of parental rights, the Department of Social Services gets involved and usually the Court will not allow it unless there is a case of adoption by another individual.
Child support is required no matter what the level of custody.
Visitation is always a possibility unless the rights are terminated.
