Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

parental rights

If my ex husband did sign his parental rights over and my (NEW) husband did adopt my son where would that leave my ex-in laws with visitations? Would his family still have any rights?

Re: parental rights

Each state has different statutes, but generally the related parties (ex's family) lose their rights of visitation.
