Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

Right to paternity test for proof of parentage by parent paying support

What right to a paternity test do I have in regards to paying support of a minor child? Paternity was never proved

in the judgement. Granted I did sign that I could possibly have been the father but soemone else also said the same thing.

You have the right to bring the matter before the

court to request a paternity test(which you will be required to pay for). Assuming that the case is being handled by the Juvenile and Domestic Relations District Court, you won't need a lawyer for this and can merely go to the clerk's office of the court to request the hearing.
