Legal Question in Family Law in Virginia

What should I pay before court?

My ex and I have a 5month old daughter. We are going to court in a few months for custody, visitation, and Child Support. My question is, how much should I give her in support, until we get the court order? I want to pay the support, I have no problem with it, I just dont know what I should give her. The sitter is 600 per month, and formula and diapers come out to about another 100 per month. as for clothing, she has TONS of clothes, so she is ok in that department for a while. thanks

The Virginia child support enforcement

agency known as DCSE(Division of Child Support Enforcement)has a child support calculator, I believe, which you should be able to access through the Virginia government website or you should also be able to roughly calculate your support obligation by consulting the Virginia child support guideline tables at Va. Code Sec. 20-108.2.
