Phone Calls
My daughter's father resides 3 hours away. She is 3 years old. Lately he's started calling her at daycare to speak to her. I am aware that he is entitled to contact with her,but is it not detrimental or at least disruptive for a child to be called out of class to have a phone conversation with their parent. He has not been denied contact with her outside of school hours. Do I have any options for getting him to cease this action?

How disruptive can a call be from a father to his child who is three years old and in, apparently, a daycare--kindegarten type setting? Assuming that the conversation is not more than about 15 minutes or so and no more than a couple of times a week, I don't see a problem.
If it were regular school hours which were allegedly being disrupted by these calls, I would see it differently. But daycare-kindegarten,
shouldn't present a problem (in my opinion) as the "class" for three year olds that is supposedly being interrupted by these calls is probably not as important as the opportunity for father and child to talk to each other.
